Just wanted to share
photos from the
show on January 29th 2008 at
KOKO, London, England.
Apostle of Hustle was touring to promote their release
National Anthem Of Nowhere
Stars were promoting the recent release of
In Our Bedroom After the War
Both band come from
Arts & Crafts and make up former members of
Broken Social Scene
While being used to the
Canadian Indie music scene the crowd was tame but with the crowd interaction from Stars the show was highly entertaining and many audience members went home with carnations which were thrown out at various times by band members. Towards the end of the show Stars front man asked those attending who wanted to leave behind pot at the merchandise table in exchange for a free
Stars t-shirts to feel free to after the show.
Here is a treat from the Toronto rockers Apostle of Hustle
fuse with Inuit throat singer
Tanya Tagaq and here is my personal song selection from Stars
"Personal" for those who had missed out on the show. But both bands are still
touring so you havent totally missed your chance to see them.
Don't forget to check out the music video
"Cheap Like Sebastien" from Apostle Of Hustle and
"The Night Starts Here" from Stars.
